Fumbling

Fumbling is the working title of a performance that is trying to take shape over the year 2026.

In collaboration with musician rRoxymore, Stina is exploring entrainment, the experience of being in sync, vibing, resonating, oscillating or pulsing with others, in relation to movement, orality, storytelling and magic.

The project aims to explore how human bodies merges with the ephemeral (the atmosphere, the performance, the sense of community or ".. in other words the unseen air, which is subtly different in each terrain.." (David Abram)) exploring the borderland between what is perceived as real, unreal, and imagined.

It is a dizzying space, falling in and out of that feeling, but perhaps I am looking for opportunities to suggest a form of togetherness beyond the fantasy of clear answers.

The performance is developed with musician rRoxymore, with the help of choreographer Bibi Dória and film maker Senay Berhe.
